Daily Hampshire Gazette, Northampton,MA

Primary Job Responsibilities;
I covered high school sports, as well as compiled the "scoreboard" page once a week, which consists of schedules, scores, and standings of professional college and local sports. For high schools I answered phone calls from coaches and wrote round ups and took statistics for various winter and spring sports.

As the semester progressed I was given the opportunity to attend five or six high school games in person and wrote a featured story for the sports section.

I would rate this experience as excellent and I would recommend this site to other students because if it weren't for this site I wouldn't have learned how important it it to get an internship.

To future students I would tell them to be persistent in finding the right internship because it can open a lot of doors in your future.
