Comcast SportsNet New England, Burlington MA

Primary job responsibilities;
Assist with the day to day operations required to broadcast Celtics games (gather footage specific to each game/opponent) log games for future reference, assist with footage requests, copy footage to appropriate tape formats.

I would rate this experience as excellent and I would recommend this site to other students because there was an excellent supervisor, it was an opportunity for unbelievable first hand experience in the world of sports reporting, and it was a great atmosphere.

I would have liked the chance to do some more reporting and/or writing so as to pertain more to my major (journalism).

To future students I would advise them to apply to and interview with as many positions as possible, as early as possible, and work very hard to make good impressions with your supervisor.
