Fall 2008

Primary Job Responsibilities: rectify the data about land plots bought by the federal government between the Land Resource System and the GIS system.

Overall evaluation of experience: Average.

I would recommend this site, working at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife gives you a great look into the federal branch of fish and wildlife conservation efforts in the United States.

If I could change any aspect of this placement I would have allowed myself to work more directly with the changes that had to be made to the GIS system.

The advice I would give to another student would be to work diligently to prove your worth and then persistent about adding more complex and interesting work to your work load.
