Fall 2008

Primary Responsibilities:

compare lists of activity schools in NY and Mass.
looked for NE reggae festivals for the Alchemists to play at.
looked into venues for the Band to play at.
Overall Evaluation of site: Excellent.

I would recommend this site to other students because they give you the experience you need for the real world.

If I could change any aspect of my experience it would have been to make more contact with my sponsor.

The advice I would give to students would be to make sure you hand in all your papers on time.

Fall 2008

Primary Job Responsibilities: General Housekeeping, practices and keeping everything neat, when this is taken care of, I would assist the engineer in the setting up microphones and other arrangements for recording.

Changes in responsibilities: Over time, the engineers trusted me more to handle expensive equipment and clients projects to some extent.

Overall I would rate this experience as Excellent. I would recommend it if recording is of any interest to you. Northfire is a great facility with great and knowledgeable people.

Advice: If they have the opportunity to take an internship in a field they enjoy, take it because it can help and teach them more in the subject.
