Amherst Community TV

Primary Job Responsibilities;

I was responsible for helping members check out equipment and answer the phone at the station and answer any questions members/potential members may have had.

Over the course of my placement I became more comfortable with the equipment and therefore I was more capable to do shoots without supervision.

I would rate this experience as very good and I would recommend this site to other students because it provides a hands on experience and a chance to learn the inner workings of studio shoots as well as shooting on location.

If I could change anything about this internship I would have wanted to do less filming of government events and a chance to do more creative and less structured filming's.

To future students I would advise that if they are interested in being behind a camera then this is a great opportunity to get comfortable with equipment as well as editing software.
