· Double-click on the company name to Post a Comment and then chose an identity (Anonymous) before you publish your comments to the Blog.
· If you do not see your company in the list; then send an e-mail to fieldexp@acad.umass.edu and we will add your placement location to the blog.

ELLE.com; New York, NY

Summer

1. Daily: checked site's comments, refreshed the home page, pitched and wrote blogs for ELLEgirl. com
2. Researched for editors, Excel work
3. Was on the on the videostor account; pre-screened makeup tutorials, handled emails for the project.

As the internship progressed I was assigned more responsibility. I wrote more blogs and built articles int he ELLE.com CMS (Content Management Systems).

I learned so much and really enjoyed my time with the ELLE.com staffers. I would recommend this site to other students.

My advice to other students is that, people of ELLE are on a deadline. They need things done fast and they don't always have time to explain things to you. Be independent and get your work done fast and well.
