Via Organica; San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

Responsibilities

  • Logistical Organization

  • Working in organic garden

  • Working the farmers market every Saturday

  • Social Media Work

  • Sustainable Agriculture education and community outreach

Initially I was working i the greenhouse and garden. After two weeks I took on more responsibilities doing organizational and office work. I also began receiving a salary.

I would rate this site as excellent and would recommend it to other students seeking a field experience placement. It is an amazing organizations with many different projects to get involved in. The people who run the organization are wonderful to work for and Mexico has a great culture and great people.

My advice is that the sky is the limit as to where you can go and what you can do.
