Daily Hampshire Gazette; Northampton, MA

Responsibilities;
-Writing stories
-Interviewing
-Reporting
Over the course of the placement there were no real changes to what was expected of me.

This is an excellent placement and strongly recommend it to other interested students. The supervisor is good, the workload is challenging but fascinating. I've met so many people and conversed with even more, from local high school students to executives of real-estate companies and banks to directors in the governors office. If I could change anything I would like a stipend since reporting can be expensive.

My advice to others is that nobody knows better than those who have already done it. Talk to students in your major who have interned and figure out where the best place for you might be.
