The Renaissance School; Amherst, MA

My responsibilities;
-Teaching Preschool
-Fundraising and establishment of scholarship fund
-Marketing and design for preschool (art & present action)
-House keeping of office administration
As time went on more of my input and ideas on classroom activities and marketing strategies were considered and implemented.

This placement was very good to excellent overall and I recommend that other students try this placement if they are interested. If someone is interested in a combination of sociology and education, the Renaissance School is exactly the place. I would not change anything about this placement, and I especially like the collaborative in a combination in existence and that it is a welfare providing school.

My advice for other students is that working with a preschool age classroom is a mix of education and child care, so balancing them and providing the extra care for the youngest ones full time. As well as watching the other full time teachers to help better yourself.
