Amherst Media; Amherst, MA

Main responsibilities;
-desk hours Monday 3-5pm
-->answered phones, made appointments, rented equipment out, etc.
-Volunteered to cover different events each week
-->school committee meetings and such
Every week the main focus of my responsibilities would change depending on what I was working on.

I think this was a very good placement overall and I recommend that other students check out this placement if interested. I think this placement is best suited for self motivated students since interns are not forced to help out, only asked. If I could change one thing I would have liked more training.

My advice to other students is to make sure you get an internship. It's a great networking tool even if the experience is not specifically what you are looking for as your exact future career.
