Sustainability Initiative; Amherst, MA

Responsibilities:
-I was to Promote reduction of waste on campus through recycling projects that raise awareness
-organize events from the location, educational materials, other materials needed, manpower, putting up advertisements
-make meetings with administrators, faculty, and building managers

I would rate this field placement as excellent in every category and i would strongly recommend this as a great place to work for other students. I learned more doing this internship than in any other class. It was fun and relevant to my major and my supervisor was amazing. I had a lot of work, but it was doing things i enjoyed.

My advice to other students is that you will get so much more out of your out college career if you participate in a field experience placement. You will never get this experience through a class and it helped me out significantly when it came to narrowing my future goals.
