ABC 40 / FOX 6 Springfield; Springfield, MA

I was to observe and be fully involved in day to day workings of the news. I worked with the assignment desk, anchors, and reporters.

I would rate this field placement as an above average internship. I would recommend this placement to other students due to the amount of learning that takes place about the news, and how it is produced, as well as other beneficial information and skills for your future. If i could have changed one thing about this placement, i would have had more personal responsibilities and jobs during the day.

My advice to other students is to get some experience because it will allow you to figure out what career you wish to pursue.
