ABC 40; Springfield, MA

I was responsible for working with the assignment desk, producers, reporters, anchors and photographers. Most of my internship was based on observation but i also navigated the INews application, made beat-calls and searched the newspaper for future events. Over the course of the placement my responsibilities remained the same.

This placement is easily ratable as excellent overall and i would recommend this to other students. Everyone was very friendly and willing to help me when i needed it. If I could have changed one thing I would have liked to have had more hands on experiences.

My advice for other students is APPLY FOR INTERNSHIPS - it gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the field and figure out if it's really what you would like to do.
