Society for Environment and Human Development; Lalmatia, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh

My primary duties were reading and summarizing primary sources for SEHD as well as editing SEHD materials for publication. The initial requirements changed when i started but after that everything was consistent.

As an overall rating for this placement I would rate it between very good - average. I would recommend it to other students. The best part of this was the access to the NGO sector as a whole. It would be easy to create future opportunities in these places including the international donor agencies. This is a very useful line item on any one's resume who intends to work in the field of development.

If i could change anything about this internship, I would increase the time i spent with the micro manager. My advice for other students is to be patient if anything frustrating arises. As well as to make sure that your visa is for your entire time of your intended stay.
