W.E.B. Dubois Library (UMass); Amherst, MA

The primary responsibilities there were install programs and software, fix computers, check inventory, run diagnostic tests, help employees with computer based questions. There were no changes over the course of the placement.

This is an excellent field placement and i strongly recommend it to students, especially ones with prior knowledge of computers. If i could have changed anything about this placement, i would have liked more hours to work, as in over 20 hours.

My advice to other students is to DO IT! it is the most realistic thing you can do.
