Developmental Disabilities and Human Services

Responsibilities;
Work with individual students on core subjects
-Physical movement
-life skills ( such as preparing and eating food)
-working on music with capable students,
-and helping to calm their anxieties
There were no major changes in what i was to do.

This is a Very good field placement and i think other students would enjoy it. I would have liked more background information on the children that i was working with in order to better understand their personal difficulties.

My advice to other students is to remember that each student is different . Having a plan is good, but be ready and able to think on your toes under changing situations.
