Market Street Research, Northampton, MA

Responsibilities: -Database updates -sending prospect emails -researching marketing companies to partner with -survey creation There were no changes to my primary responsibilities. I rate this placement as an average field experience placement. I recommend it to other students as I think that it provides a great working atmosphere, however, I think that the students and supervisor should set clear, concrete goals at the beginning of the semester to help avoid busywork. I would have liked less work withing the database and more challenging projects. My advice for other students is to find a company that you are interested in personally. You will find the work much more engaging if it relates to your passions.
